Samsung continues to lead the global DRAM market in Q2 2026

According to Counterpoint’s report on the second quarter of this year, Samsung is great winner from the rising DRAM prices in the same quarter. The Korean tech giant is widening the gap between itself and its biggest competitor, SK Hynix.

In Q2 2026, Samsung captured 39% of the global DRAM sales and secured the first spot for a third quarter in a row. The Korean company is followed by SK Hynix, securing 26% of the sales, which in turn is closely followed by Micron with a 25% share. CMXT gets only 7%, and the remaining share goes to other smaller manufacturers.
