Earlier this month, Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi 17 series and the 5G model is now confirmed to make its way to India on September 3.
Redmi India posted a batch of teasers for the device, and the posts confirm it will feature at least one upgrade in the form of a larger battery. The Indian Redmi 17 5G is getting a 7,900 mAh battery, which is a 400mAh boost compared to the global version. Outside of the battery, the India variant will still support 45W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
