When migrating data models from SAP PowerDesigner to erwin Data Modeler, entity and attribute Comments in the CDM and LDM are silently lost — erwin has no Comment section on those objects. This blog shows how a small Python utility carries every PowerDesigner Comment into erwin Notes, with byte-level verification that nothing else in the model changed.
