Apple has announced an updated iMac as part of a series of Mac-focused announcements over the course of this week. The first announcement gives the company’s all-in-one desktop PC a shot in the arm in the form of an update processor and new colors.
The new 2024 iMac is now built on the company’s latest Apple M4 chipset. This includes up to a 10-core CPU (4P+6E), which is said to be 1.7x faster than the M1 model and 1.3x faster than the previous M3 model in Excel. There’s also a new GPU with up to 10-cores, which is 2x faster than the M1 GPU and 1.1x faster than the M3’s in gaming….
