RAP Business Events with SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh and SAP S/4HANA On Premise 2023

With the introduction of the enterprise event enablement and specifically the release of S/4HANA 2023 new possible ways to produce events within S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and On Premise have been added. In this series of blogs, we will take a look at the different ways RAP business events can be used in combination with SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh (AEM).

 

Prerequisites:

This blog series assumes that you have a running instance of SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh and an already setup event broker as these steps will not be part of this series. You can follow this blog to set up the Advanced Event Mesh.

Additionally, the ABAP Development Tools are required to work with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). You can follow this tutorial to set up the development tools and connect to the SAP S/4HANA on premise system as described in the RAP610 course.
