In ths blog post, I would like to share a solution to the problem of opening ITSMobile screen template via Visual Editor.
Symptom
Execute transaction code SE80.In the Repository Browser, select “Internet Service” item in the dropdown box.In the input field, type the service name and press ENTER.Navigate to a template and double-click it. In the below example, it is give the your template.The Editor freezes, not showing the actual content
Solution for Template Editing Issue in ITSMobile Application on S/4HANA 2023
When trying to open the template for editing in the Visual Editor of the ITSMobile application in S/4HANA 2023, the screen seems to be loading but ends up freezing. Below, I share the solution for this issue.
Upon reviewing notes 2696538 and 2570160, the first suggested solution is to set the user parameter “W3_XML_EDIT_DEV_CONF = ABAPDelay=1000” in the SAP system. If the template still does not open after setting this parameter, it is necessary to check the “icf/user_recheck” parameter through transaction RZ11. The parameter description is provided below.
Parameter Description
The parameter defines if a new logon data check and addressing of an existing session is to take place for stateful HTTP communication or not. The authentication data needs to match the data held in the session.
0 = If the check is inactive
1 = If the check is active

Additional Information
Currently, the Visual Editor does not support Microsoft Edge. The details are shared below.
It has been mentioned in SAP note 3191851 that even if Microsoft Edge is selected instead of Internet Explorer in the SAP GUI settings, support for Edge is currently unavailable. As stated in the note, ongoing checks are being performed to enable Edge to work properly.
