Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition last year in Korea. This was a foldable phone that was thinner and lighter than the mainstream Galaxy Z Fold6, while also packing bigger screens – both the folding one and the cover display.
Thus, it’s everything we wanted the Fold6 to be, but it only launched in Korea first, and then in China, where it’s called Samsung W25. Now, the Samsung W26, this model’s successor, has already been certified for sale in China by the relevant authorities.
It’s unclear if this means we should expect it to make its debut much earlier in the year…
