SAP HANA, Express Edition 2.0 SPS 08

The release of SAP HANA, express edition based off SAP HANA Platform 2.0 SPS 08 is now available.

SAP HANA, express edition is a community-supported, on-premise, starter version of SAP HANA. New features are listed in the What’s New in SAP HANA Platform 2.0 and are further discussed in the webinar What’s New in SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 08 Overview.

The download manager can be downloaded at

SAP HANA, express edition Trial and used to download a binary install of SAP HANA, express edition for supported Linux systems.

You can choose between a server only install or you can additionally install both the server and applications which include the SAP HANA extended application services, advanced model (XSA), SAP HANA cockpit, SAP HANA database explorer , and SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA.

Additionally, SAP HANA, express edition is available in a docker https://hub.docker.com/u/saplabs container.

VM images such as those that would run in a VMware hypervisor are no longer available.
