This session will introduce what’s new in WebdriverIO v9 and introduce the new wdi5 v3. It’ll cover the new BIDI protocol and the differences compared to DevTools. The session will also cover what has been deprecated in the new wdi5 version, the major enhancements in performance and the support of UI5 legacy-free. Last, but not least, it will show the Developer Experience improvements like better typescript support and overall simplification.
