Hi Folks,
Recently I have encountered one error when exporting the Local Content in SAP Build Work Zone, Standard Edition.
This issue is there as of 30th October 2025. In future SAP will do the permanent fix for the issue.
Error Details:
Below will be the error when exporting the Local content in BWZ, SE:
Export process was stopped due to an error. Please try again and if the issue persists, open a support ticket with error code 54c8e678-c55f-4a8e-7def-006b439d6253

Solution: After so many follow up with SAP Product team, they told that if a role id contain Slash “/” in it then it will give this kind of error. they are working on the solution as permanent fix for same.
Meanwhile as a work around we can remove the slash “/” from the role id which is having and it will resolve the issue.
Below is the reply from SAP Team:
“Thank you for your patience while we investigated the export issue you reported, we’ve identified the root cause and are actively working on a permanent fix.
We found that the export function currently works for all roles that do not have a forward slash (/) in their ID. To unblock your workflow, please recreate your local app (as IDs are immutable) and choose an ID that does not contain a forward slash. This will allow you to export content while we finalize the proper fix.
We are conducting a deeper investigation to implement a robust solution. We will let you know as soon as the fix is deployed.”
I have deleted the existing role because once role created we can not change the id. After deletion I have created new role and in id I have not used the slash.
I hope this will solve the problem for many customer which took 1 month for me to fix it.
