Do those placeholders in the SAP GUI password field bother you too? You can change that. In SAP GUI, go to the menu in the top left corner, then Options, Interaction Design, Visualization 2, and uncheck the box next to “Show placeholder characters.” When you reopen the window, the placeholders will be gone.
