The minor news is that I was on vacation šļø hence the late news blog for MarchĀ š
but my colleagues did not stop delivering releases while I was out š
Plenty of small but super useful features and enhancements being delivered with our two releases in March š„
My monthly top features video for March 2026 is a little late this time due to my vacation, but will follow on YouTube šŗ the next days on the usual

My top features in March
Ā
Currency Conversion
There are two updates with currency conversion:
Shift for Currency Conversion
In the analytic model, you can now control whether currency conversion applies a shift of the decimal points or not.Simplified Sharing of Views Containing Currency Conversion
You can now simply share SQL views containing a currency conversion column to another space, without needing also to share all the supporting currency conversion entities too. Very convenient.
ā”ļøĀ More information: Create a Currency Conversion Column in a Graphical ViewĀ andĀ Enabling Currency Conversion with TCUR* Tables and Views.
Ā
DAC Support for associated dimensions of fact data
When creating an association from a fact to a dimension, you can now choose to apply the dimension’s data access controls directly to the fact data.
You can see any data access controls applied in this way in a subsectionĀ Applied via DimensionsĀ under the list ofĀ Data Access ControlsĀ in the side panel.
ā”ļøĀ Ā More information.
Ā
Support Large Parquet Files for Object Store Targets
You can now enable to create large files in Replication Flows when replicating data to supported cloud object store targets using the Parquet file format. This creates fewer and larger files during the initial load.
ā”ļøĀ Ā More information.
Ā
Manage Replication Flow Runs via the Command Line
You can now manage Replication Flow runs via the Command Line interface (CLI), meaning you can run, stop, and obtain the status of replication flows via the command line.
ā”ļøĀ Ā More information.
Ā
Email Notification for Expiring Consent
You will now automatically receive an email notification before your authorization consent expires. This will help ensure your scheduled tasks will continue without interruption.
ā”ļøĀ Ā More information.
Ā
Define Z-ORDER COLUMNS While Running an Optimize Task
While running an optimize task for your local table (file), you can now define Z-order columns to co-locate the data by columns and therefore reduce the amount of data that needs to be read.
Z Ordering co-locates similar data in the same files, which allows for better file skipping and faster queries. The difference from partitioning is that Partitioning creates physical folders, which is good for low-cardinality data like a region, Boolean values or the likes. Z-Ordering optimizes the file layout within those folders based on high-cardinality data customer Ids, time stamps and the likes.
ā”ļøĀ Ā More information.
Ā
Data Lineage enhancement for the BW DTPs
A new link type (dashed line) has been added to the Impact and Lineage Analysis diagram for Data Transfer Processes (DTP) and their associated Transformations (TRFN) across all BW systems. You can gain complete data traceability control by visualizing how one or more transformations are connected to and used within DTPs, enabling better understanding of data flow and dependencies in your BW environment.
ā”ļøĀ Ā More information.
