​ Flooding is a major threat to people and infrastructure around the world, especially for coastal communities due to climate change and sea level rise. Accurate and timely modeling predictions of coastal flood hazards are essential for planning, mitigation, and emergency response. We’ll share how Artificial Intelligence is being applied to the ever-increasing challenge of climate change by expanding the capabilities of Stantec’s Flood Predictor to include coastal locations and flood risk.
