Wow, what an honor it was to get to talk with Claus Fleischer, the CEO of Bosch eBike Systems. He walked us through the new Performance Line SX Motor. Here are some quick specs:
* Lightweight- weighing in around 2 kg or 4.4 lbs
* Puts out continuous power of 250 watts with a max output of 600 watts
* It has a max of 55 Nm of torque
* Great for light eMTB’s – Urban cruisers & eGravel bikes
* Tops out at 20 MPH
* We are currently testing a lightweight eMTB with the motor – stay tuned for our analysis on how it performs
We are so excited for the future of the E-bike industry. Bosch is definitely at the forefront when it comes to innovation and redefining what the E-bike industry can be. Can’t wait to see what they do next!
