In our journey towards achieving business excellence and customer satisfaction, the API Publishing team plays a pivotal role as we publish all digital artifacts for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA. The team is responsible for publishing digital artifacts with high quality and consistent with customer requirements to fulfil their extensibility and integration scenarios on SAP Business Accelerator Hub. By adopting an automation-driven approach, we streamlined the publishing process, simplified internal workflows, and ultimately benefited our customers. Our published objects support both side-by-side and key user extensibility, ensuring a versatile and adaptive business environment.

Our approach began with enhancing our publishing tools. We implemented several quality initiatives, tracked meticulously via Jira, and introduced automated review processes using code inspectors. Additionally, we prioritized customer engagement initiatives to align our outputs with customer expectations.

The quality-driven approach began with developing templates and defined formats for the information displayed, based on the belief that “Consistency drives business.” Tracking the entire process through Jira allowed us to ensure thorough completeness checks. Automating the review of published artifacts saved significant time and effort, enabling our teams to focus on more strategic tasks.
