The Rocky Mountain Instinct was bred for the very hills that we got to test it on, or near enough. Based in Vancouver, the Canadian brand certainly isn’t short of the terrain where a bike like the Instinct shines. BC, in fairness, by its sheer variety, has something for most bike categories. However, when it comes to backcountry riding and pedal loops, riding the mid-travel aggressive bikes here can be the perfect companion for some of the lesser-known gems, as well as some of the modern classics.
