Mountain bike tyres have been getting wider… now even cross-country bikes are being built to accommodate up to 2.6″ rubber! We thought we’d apply some science and see if we can decipher the difference in feeling and performance, both up and downhill, between iterations of Vittoria’s Mezcal XC tyre which comes in 2.1″, 2.35″ and 2.6″.
