Back in March we first heard that Sony was busy working on its first ever 200MP sensor for smartphone cameras, one meant for the main camera and one that could actually make its way to Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra, as per another rumor.
Today the upcoming sensor’s specs have been detailed in China by prolific leaker Digital Chat Station. Will this be the next big thing in smartphone photography? Only time will tell, but it sure does look promising on paper.
