XC racing has undergone drastic changes – the tracks are gnarlier, faster, and demand more capability than ever. James Pickering throws himself into the deep end, attempting a full race-pace lap at the World Cup track at Leinzerheide on a 2010 26-inch Lefty bike to see if the narrow bars and lack of a clutch mech can keep up with modern rock gardens and drops. He compares the run against a new XC race bike!
