Things have been a little quiet from Cube in recent years — the brand’s e-MTB lineup included the Stereo Hybrid One55, which we tested last year, but was lacking a longer travel sibling for the roughest terrain.

So when the German brand launched the Stereo Hybrid One77 earlier this year, we weren’t exactly shocked. This also marked the final goodbye of the brand’s older, long-travel e-MTB, the Hybrid 160, which was still rolling on dual 27.5in wheels.

It’s got a big battery, a tonne of travel and a high powered motor, and we’ve been testing the Stereo Hybrid One77 for the last three months to see how it stacks up as a high value proposition in the eMTB space.
