Navigate SAP Fiori launchpad with Ease: Launch Apps via Transaction Codes

Overview

We have introduced an innovative feature in the SAP Fiori launchpad offering a swift and efficient way to navigate to applications using transaction codes**.

Users can now perform quick search on transaction code with instant navigation to the corresponding application.

Seamless In-Place and Ex-Place Navigation

In-Place Launch: If you have access to a role-based app, simply enter /n followed by the transaction code to launch it in the same browser tab. 

Ex-Place Launch: For opening apps in a new browser tab, use /o followed by the transaction code. 

Navigation to Start Page: Easily return to the start page with /n, or open it in a new tab with /o.

** Discovering Transaction Codes for applications

Some of the ways to identify the transaction code corresponding to an application include:

1. Access the  Fiori reference library , typically for SAP Fiori and SAP GUI applications the  App ID information would correspond to the transaction code.

2. Navigate to an application by other means such as clicking on the tile and invoke the About dialog via User menu.  to find the transaction code.
