We are taking one step further with event driven architecture in, now we can monitor event mesh metrics with SAP Cloud ALM.
One thing quickly may come into your mind that we have monitoring option in SAP Integration Suite, then what’s new with SAP Cloud ALM.
So below are main points where we need SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring Event mesh:
The broker health can be monitored directly through the Broker State card.Customers can view the historical metrics data based on housekeeping settings in Cloud ALM.We are sending warning (80%) and critical (95%) alerts for these metrics, which are also configurable by customers. The biggest advantage of SAP Cloud ALM health monitoring is that customers don’t need to access the EMIS (Event Mesh in SAP Integration Suite) monitoring screen. They can simply add our service to their SAP Cloud ALM dashboard along with other services and monitor everything in one unified view.Big Picture of multiple event mesh services.
Now we will look in more details to understand above points,
Before monitoring the system let’s first understand that we need to add system/service (of SAP Integration Suite) into SAP Cloud ALM tenant for monitoring:
If you are customer, then you need to specify your customer id
And with this option, automatically at backed SAP will pull all connected tenants with their included services.
Open landscape management app from SAP Cloud ALM tenant. And check your customer ID.
Note: If you encounter problems connecting your managed services or systems to SAP Cloud ALM, please report a case(opens in new tab) using the following components:
SV-CLM-INF-CON – Connectivity of managed services/systems to SAP Cloud ALMSV-CLM-INF-LMS – Landscape Management Service
