A viewer shipped his modified Mercedes C230 Kompressor (W203) all the way from Canada to Europe for one dream: driving the Nürburgring Nordschleife. One problem — his racing bucket seats have head protectors (“ears”), and seats like that are banned from Touristenfahrten. The rules are the rules. So, determined not to come this far and miss his lap, he made a decision I had to watch through my fingers: we handed him a saw. What followed was basically a horror movie. In this video: the sawing, the story of the build, his first laps of the Green Hell, and whether it was all worth it.
