Nothing has recently revealed that it’s announcing something on April 18, and today the company has let us know exactly what to expect: the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a).

Those are not typos, we’re not talking about the Nothing Ear (3). Ahead of this launch, the company has decided to reset its naming scheme and strip back the numbers it has so far been using to underscore each generation of each product. By giving up on the numbers, Nothing says it can “center the focus around the product and the unique experience it delivers for each user”.
